The Costello Brothers

The Costello brothers were born in the Bronx of New York City. At an early age their family moved to Boynton Beach, Florida. Their father wanted the boys to have an interest in music so he taught them to play the traditional Italian music instrument, the accordion. Michael took to it immediately but David preferred to play the drums. In high school they formed their own band called “The Flying Tigers.” They followed the music scene in New York and then Los Angeles.

Michael started recording music using a computer. Using this talent, his interest turned to the internet as a means to promote his music business. His interest in the internet soon transformed to the accumulating of domain names. In the early years domain names cost nothing. In the mid 1990’s a company started charging 100 dollars per domain registration as management fees. Michael began following domain names that he was interested in and as owners relinquished the names he would procure them. His ingenuity soon transformed to geographical domains could be a way to promote business interest in various cities by selling advertising.

David had several failed projects and at their mothers suggestion joined Michael in the business. He took on the task of marketing the advertising on the various city domains that Michael had acquired. The brothers joined a successful organization called Associated Cities and are presently on the board of directors. They have consistently and unselfishly given back to their industry by mentoring, coaching and teaching people interested in the Geodomains industry.
