Man Of Adventure: Peter Hillary

Peter Hillary was born into adventure. He is the son of Sir Edmund Hillary, the British adventurer who was the first person to climb Mt. Everest. He has followed in his fathers steps as an adventurer. He started to climb at age 11. As well, has tackled almost every difficult mountain or harsh terrain available in the world. He currently lives in Auckland, Australia with his wife and four children. That is when he is home. He is an active business man, philanthropist, speaker and author.

He has been a guest on many TV shows such as “Late Night with David Letterman” and “Good Morning America.” He has been published by the “New York Times” and the “Sydney Morning Herald.”

He believes in giving back to those who have given to him. In conjunction with his family, Peter has help build and run schools, hospitals and medical clinics in Nepal.

He is a renown public speaker. His speaking style is tailored to his client, but his speeches pack a real punch. He uses his exciting personality to pull in the audience and show them how close their personal goals actually are. His philosophy is "never lose sight of where you want to go". Stay focused, be independent, use good judgment, be generous, learn how to survive no matter what and have fun are some of the concepts he both teaches and lives.

These ideals were the reason he was invited to be a keynote speaker at the 2008 DOMAINfest Global Conference. As a true entrepreneur, he is capable of exciting any crowd he is speaking to and domainers were no exception.
