John Battelle co-founded the Web 2 Summit conference. He is the Executive Producer as well as the band manager with BoingBoing.net. He has founded other organizations. Battelle chaired at the Graduate School of Journalism at the University of California.

This book was published by Penguin/Portfolio. He has appeared on national and international news channels.
