David Castello is the Chief Operating Officer of Castello Cities Internet Network, a company founded by him and his brother, Michael Castello, about twelve years ago. David is also Editor in Chief of the operations. Dealers in .com domain names, they have about one thousand domains in their portfolio. Although he was born in Little Italy in the Bronx, New York, his family moved to Florida when David was a child.
The Castello brothers started out with an interest in music and formed a rock band that they called the Flying Tigers. The band was successful, winning the South Florida Battle of the Bands, encouraging sixteen year old David and Michael, who was slightly older, to pack up their van and head for the Big Apple. After ten good years with the band, David decided to pick up and move to Los Angeles, where he started promoting rock performances. At the same time, his brother Michael was using the Internet to promote music, with technology becoming his major interest.
While Michael was busy with the Internet, David returned to Florida and opened a night club. It was not very successful; in fact, it was a very sad failure. Financially bankrupt, David decided to return to Los Angeles in 1997 and find whatever work he could there. He struggled along until his mother suggested that David join up with Michael, who was finding success in 1997 in the Internet domain registration business.
Victoria, Michael and David’s mother, joined the firm and is the Chief Financial Officer of Castello Cities Internet Network.
