With the advent of the Internet, many people have turned to this technology of the century to make their fortunes and future. Michael Castello is just one of them. An Internet development pioneer, Michael Castello is the co-founder, President and CEO for the Castello Cities Internet Network, Inc., also known as CCIN. Under its CCIN portfolio, Michael Castello, along with his brother David, has managed to bring some of the most recognizable Internet brands together. Some of the brands that are currently under the CCIN portfolio are Adopt.com, Banana.com, PalmSprings.com, DavCare.com, Whisky.com, LagunaBeach.com, Manicure.com and Acapulco.com. Both Michael and David Castello were inducted into the Geo Hall of Fame in Chicago last year.
Recently, Michael Castello has expanded CCIN’s operations and has focused on developing their superbrand portfolio that includes Bullion.com, GolfClub.com, Rate.com and Traveler.com. Before getting into the Internet business, Michael Castello begin his career as a waiter at the Windows of the World restaurant on the 107th floor of the World Trade Center and also played in bands in New York City with his brother. However, soon the Internet was the buzz all over the United States and Michael Castello decided to promote his music through the Internet. However, it was in 1997 when Michael Castello found success in Internet domain registration business and they started making a good amount of business and popularity followed. With the passage of time, Castello’s geodomains started becoming popular and he had a vision of registering site names which would build virtual cities.
Michael’s mother Victoria Castello eventually joined the business and is now the Chief Financial Officer for Castello Cities Internet Network. After the success of their city domains, Michael Castello joined Associated Cities, which is a very successful organization that manages city domain owners from around the world.
