This site allows ordinary people to post videos, photos, music, news and other topics that appeal to internet users. This site also allows you to give your opinion on things that have been posted and share them with friends, family or strangers. Global Grind has a ranking system just like Google. The only difference is that it has fewer visitors at the present time, which allows the search to be more specific. The site also is geared to appeal to the hip-hop community. Wright has worked diligently in the media business for the last 13 years, starting at 360hiphop.com. BET bought out 360hiphop.com, but kept Wright on to oversee the site and its progress. Wright spent six years at a medical broadcasting company in the marketing business before Global Grind evolved. Russell Simmons, multi-millionaire rap mogul, is a strong supporter of GlobalGrind.com. He is well known for his rap music, but Simmons is also a self motivated philanthropist. There are fifteen other employees and supporters who work along side of Wright to keep this site up. Recently Simmons and Wright were guests on the Steve Harvey show to advertise GlobalGrind.com. It is very inspiring to know that normal people can become successful with a single idea and promotional help.
