Entrepreneur, journalist, professor, and author, John Battelle wears many hats, and he wears them well. As one of the leading minds of the internet revolution, Battelle has shaped the future of media and communication through his various successful web ventures.

Battelle was one of the founding editors of "Wired" magazine, helping bring technology reporting into the mainstream. From there, he continued his tremendous string of success as founder, chairman, and CEO of Standard Media International (SMI). He's currently the founder and chairman of Federated Media Publishing, spearheading conferences on media, communications, technology, and the entertainment industries.
